The Woodland Plant Pot is part of the Woodlands Collection. Autumn is a truly majestic time, whether foraging for conkers or feeling the crunch of newly fallen leaves underfoot, woodlands are a wonderful place to connect with nature. The UK’s woodlands are rich and diverse supporting an incredible array of wildlife from woodland flowers to birds and butterflies. These leafy wonderlands not only provide homes for wildlife but they are also an important tool in the fight against climate change. They are hugely effective in soaking up carbon from the atmosphere and provide a natural solution to the climate crisis. Through our collection with the Natural History Museum, we want to celebrate the UK’s incredible woodland habitats and highlight the need to protect them for future generations to enjoy.
